Post high school plans: Playing softball at Bethany Lutheran college. Majoring in biology on a pre PA track.
My goal for this season is to win a section championship and to have 3 consecutive years of batting above a .500
My favorite thing about softball is the competitive atmosphere and the family feel of the team.
Favorite softball memory: Either winning the Lakeville showcase with the Waves this past summer. For school all of the team dinners and team bonding.
My favorite athlete is Bethany softball player Kaija Mork. I really look up to her as she had an outstanding freshman year at Bethany. I’m excited to play with her for 2 years.
Best advice received: Stay in the moment. Let the small things go. You can control what you can don’t let the things you can’t control dictate how you play.
Advice to younger players: Enjoy every moment. Be present and don’t think about the past or future. Your childhood goes by fast cherish what you have left.
Favorite pregame meal: On the bus rides it’s a peanut butter sandwich and fruit snacks.
Pregame ritual: After I put my hair up I tie in my green ribbon.
