Lydia Banse homered in the first inning to give the Peppers a 1-0 lead, but the PA Chaos pulled away to beat the Peppers 11-5 in a game Thursday at the Colorado Sparkler Tournament.
The Peppers had six hits total, including two from Kya Alderson. Alderson also had an RBI.
Carlie Wendinger also had an RBI on a groundout. Emily Hacker, Gracie Linbo and Torii Emery had the other hits for the Peppers.
It was the Peppers first loss in the tourney. They are 2-1-1 overall.
